BioSTL’s startup arm, BioGenerator, is significantly expanding its support for St. Louis’ growing life sciences sector. After two decades of investing $50 million into 130 local startups, helping them attract nearly $3 billion in follow-on capital, BioGenerator is now launching two new venture funds totaling $40 million. These funds will accelerate biotech tools, agtech, and digital health/AI innovations, while expanding the region’s ecosystem of labs, resources, and talent. The initiative aims to counter the nationwide downturn in biotech funding and further strengthen St. Louis as a national hub for life sciences innovation.
